Your information, in plain English.

Last updated October 20, 2026. Short version: we collect what you type into our forms, use it only to run The Loop, never sell it, and delete it when you ask.

Who we are

The Loop is a free community for real estate professionals, independently organized by Xavier S. Cole. Questions or requests about your information go to theloop@xavierscole.com or 978-539-9512.

What we collect

When you join

Your name and email, and optionally your brokerage and primary market, plus which topics interest you. We also record that you agreed to receive email from us: the exact wording you agreed to, its version, the date and time, and the page you used.

When you offer to contribute

The same contact details, how you'd like to contribute, the note you write, an optional link, and a record of your agreement to be contacted about contributing.

When you ask for an introduction

Your name and email, and optionally your phone and brokerage, which group you'd like to be connected to, the session you came from, any note you write, and a record of your agreement to be contacted about it.

To stop spam

To limit repeated submissions, we keep a one-way, scrambled code made from your IP address (never the address itself) for up to 24 hours. Our forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks signals from your browser to tell people from bots. Cloudflare handles that check under its own privacy policy.

What we don't collect

No analytics. No advertising pixels and no tracking cookies. We don't buy lists, and following us on Instagram doesn't sign you up for email.

How we use it

  • To send the invitations and updates you asked for.
  • To make relevant introductions, only with your permission.
  • To review and reply to contributor offers.
  • To make the introductions you ask for, and nothing more. Asking for an introduction doesn't sign you up for email.
  • To understand who's in the community (for example, which markets members are in) so we can plan useful sessions.

We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share the member list with eXp Realty or any other brokerage, company or advertiser. Joining The Loop doesn't make you a recruiting prospect. If you start a one-on-one conversation with an organizer, they may keep notes about that conversation in their own contact management tool.

Where it's stored

This website runs on Cloudflare, and form submissions are stored in a private Cloudflare database that only The Loop's organizers can access. It is never published on the site. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request information such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site.

When you submit a form, a copy of what you entered is also emailed to The Loop's private inbox (theloop@xavierscole.com, run on Google Workspace) so a real person can follow up. Nobody else receives it.

The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to download them, and Google receives your IP address when it does.

If we start using an email service to send updates, we'll name it here before we do.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe anytime. Every email we send will include a way to unsubscribe, and you can always email theloop@xavierscole.com.
  • See, correct or delete your information. Email us and we'll take care of it.
  • After you unsubscribe we keep only your email address and the date, so we don't contact you again by mistake.

We keep your information while you're a member, and delete it when you ask us to.

The fine print

The Loop is for real estate professionals and isn't directed at anyone under 18. Nothing on this site is legal, financial or real estate advice for a specific situation. If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top, and we'll tell members by email about any meaningful change.
